Youth Commission

The Youth Commission was formed to assist and bring the fresh perspective of the next generation of health professional leaders to the global Commission on Education of Health Professionals for the 21st Century. It was an informal advisory committee composed of 24 medical students, nursing students, public health students, pharmacy students, resident physicians and other recent graduates. These member were recruited from national and international health professional organizations with attention to geographical diversity. The Youth Commission served as one of several knowledge networks for the global Commission.
